AMI Cardiac Monitoring is a
Medicare-Certified Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility
Opened in 1991 by a pediatric cardiac nurse, AMI was, and remains a privately-held corporation. At AMI we understand individual concerns with cardiac monitoring equipment. Our patients are AMI’s number one priority and we are prepared to go above and beyond, striving for excellence in the area of customer service, information and support.
AMI utilizes Holter and Event monitors from Philips, Braemar and Mednet. 100% of patient care is provided from our Sandy Spring, Maryland office. AMI does not subcontract any portion of its patient care, billing or monitor retrieval. AMI’s sales staff is growing, and is committed to expanding our clinical practice.
AMI’s range of monitors is continually expanding:
In August, 2009, we began providing Mobile Cardiac Telemetry (ECAT).
In the near future we will be offering Braemar Mobile Cardiac Telemetry
AMI will be featuring Braemar’s 920 Wireless Cardiac Event Monitor.
AMI constantly reviews new products and will introduce additional advanced and innovative monitors as they become available.
AMI Cardiac Monitoring works diligently with health insurance carriers to lessen out-of-pocket costs to the patient whenever possible. If a claim is rejected, AMI will place the patient bill on hold and try to mediate with the carrier, requesting they reprocess claims at in-network rates. If difficulties persist, or carriers will not participate with multiple IDTFs, we will work with both the Viant and MultiPlan networks to reduce out-of-pocket costs for our patients. For specific carrier related questions, please contact AMI.
We hope to have an opportunity to work with you to provide the best in cardiac monitoring and quality services for your patients.
